Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz has initiated a city-wide effort
to assist with the relief efforts in the city of Columbia, South Carolina
following devastating flooding that hit the area over the weekend. Dothan area
residents are asked to visit the Sam’s Club Parking Lot (located on Ross Clark
Circle) and donate non-perishable foods, bottled water, and bleach. A Coleman
Worldwide Truck and Coleman Associates will be at the parking lot to help
collect any goods donated. The event will take place between Friday, October 9
and Sunday, October 11.
Coleman has locations in Columbia and Sumter, South Carolina and is excited that its corporate home community is coming together to assist a city that is dealing with a great time of need.
