Fall for Dallas with Kids

Everyone is talking about this spectacular event featuring the nationally acclaimed Storybook Pumpkin Village. See how 50,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash transform the gardens into a family-friendly excursion that is sure to please everyone! Amidst the chrysanthemums and fall foliage, various activities are offered during the week and weekends. Be sure to choose your own pumpkin in the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch and check out the unique Children’s Adventure Garden.

Offering a plethora of fried food and family fun, the State Fair of Texas is a wonderful event. Activities include a parade, football game, free concerts, midway rides, farm animals, games and shopping. Did someone say fried bubblegum marshmallows?

This free, family-friendly event begins with a Butterfly Costume Parade in which children and pets are encouraged to arrive in costume. Surround yourself with all things butterfly as exhibits, arts and crafts activities and live butterfly releases take place throughout the day.

This premiere North Texas air show is an aviation festival free to the public. Families of all ages will enjoy interactive exhibits, flight simulators, static displays, Kid Zone, and various food and fun. Parking is $20 per vehicle. The Black Diamond Jet Team and other high profile performers are not to be missed!
