Whether you prefer to get your groove on alone in your living room to your favorite tune, or to rock out in a crowded club, there is no denying that dancing is fun. Dallas Movers and shakers know all the best spots to have a great time if you like getting out on the dance floor. However, if you’re new in town, it can be a little difficult to figure out where to find the best dance floors and the hottest DJs or bands. If you have recently relocated to the Dallas area, here are a few suggestions so that you can start rocking out right away.
1. The Round-Up Saloon
Line dancing, karaoke, great DJs, and the occasional appearance by Lady Gaga, make this saloon way above average. The dance floor is always bumpin’, and if you are a line dance neophyte, they offer free lessons.
2. The Slip Inn
It looks a little sketchy from the outside, but behind the neon sign and beat-up red doors is a tiny spot with great music. The DJs start spinning a mix of old school and contemporary hip-hop, rap, and R&B around 10 pm. The place gets seriously packed as the night goes on.
3. Station 4
Amazing DJs? Check. A massive dance floor with an insane light show? Check. Drag show? Check. Station 4 is often described as “The dance hall answer to Disneyland”. Enough said.
