Every year, local businesses throughout the Dothan and Wiregrass area are entered to be voted among the "Best of the Wiregrass." 2017 marks the 20th Anniversary that The Dothan Eagle has hosted this area competition., and Coleman Worldwide Moving is competing to be "The Best Place to Work."
Voting rules for this contest are simple. Voters must have a valid email address, live within 50 miles of Dothan, can vote once every 24 hours, and must vote in at least 40 categories for a ballot to be accepted. Voting is categorized into a few main areas:
- Automotive
- Dining
- Health & Beauty
- Home & Finance
- Home Improvement
- Media
- Places
- Services
- Shopping
The team at Coleman's corporate office consists of many lifelong and recent residents of the Dothan community and has done many things throughout the years to support the area by participating in area organizations such as the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and Dothan Civitans, or getting involved locally through city-sponsored relief drives, Wiregrass United Way, and various food and clothing drives throughout the years.
