We are excited that the the Women's Museum of California has selected Coleman Allied as the San Diego Movers to relocate them this past Wednesday. Coleman Allied in San Diego carefully handled an array of fascinating artifacts while prepping the museum's relocation. Museum historian, Dr. Sue Gonda, explains her pride in the museum's collection of artifacts: "this small museum boasts a large collection of important memorabilia."

The Women's Museum of California's website gives a brief history of the museum with a small excerpt of that history listed below:

The Women's Museum of California is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1983 as the Women's History Reclamation Project. It was the life-long dream of its founder, Mary B. Maschal, and other women who realized that women were not included in the mainstream version of history. Mary spent a good part of her life collecting and preserving many historic artifacts that exemplify and document the life histories and achievements of many women, in both the United States and abroad and called it The Women's History Reclamation Project. Today we are one of only five museums of women's history in the country.

Please check out their website for more information and visit this great museum the next time you're in the area!
