On March 17, millions of Americans will suddenly go green. No, going green is not an Al Gore, Greenpeace, go paperless, and save the environment go green.  Instead, millions of people, whether of Irish descent or not, will celebrate our nation’s Irish heritage when we partake in the celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day. On this day, if someone can find a way to turn something green without irreparably damaging an item then it will be turned green.  On St. Patty’s Day, people from all over will find green clothing, green cold beverages, green icing, green eggs, green ham, green rivers, and green fountains on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.  To add to all things green, hundreds of cities across the US celebrate their own Irish heritage.

One of the largest parades in the country happens to take place near our Savannah Movers service center right along the historic Savannah downtown area.  According to the City of Savannah’s website, Savannah, GA has held a public parade since 1824, and the parade happens to attract over 300,000 visitors each year from all over the world who crowd the streets of Georgia's oldest city. For anyone looking to attend any of the festivities this year or in future years can visit the below links for some useful tips and information regarding the event.  To everyone celebrating all over the world tonight, Coleman Worldwide Moving wishes everyone a happy and safe Saint Patrick’s Day.
