Coleman Allied Participates in Houston County Spirit of Service Day

In this article, Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz commented on Spirit of Service Day’s great 22 year history, “The Spirit of Service Day is a great tradition in our city that allows us as a community to come together. That's what makes our community so awesome. We have so many people that care about where we live and our future." Wiregrass community involvement has been well documented with examples like this WTVY article or even the Wiregrass United Way participation of this moving company.

This year Coleman American Moving Services will offer support to Wiregrass Children’s Home as our Spirit of Service Company project. We are encouraging all employees to donate such items as: paper towels, toilet paper, children’s toothpaste, cleaning supplies, and school supplies. We hope that this small measure of kindness will make a huge and direct impact on many Wiregrass-area children’s lives and helps them continue to focus on enjoying the joys that childhood bring.

If you would like to find ways that you can help participate in your own local communities, Coleman American Moving Services encourage you to check out getinvolved.gov. This government website will help you find local community service projects in need of volunteers.
