Coleman Worldwide Moving, an agent and mover for Allied Van Lines, is excited to share this partnership developed between Allied and The Salvation Army. Please read the below release from Allied for more information for this partnership.

Allied Van Lines, one of the world's largest household goods moving companies, has announced an exclusive charitable partnership with The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) program.

"Allied Van Lines is committed to simplifying the moving process while doing our part in strengthening communities," said Lesli Bertoli, vice president and general manager, Allied Van Lines.  "By offering our moving customers with a way to donate unwanted household items, they do good by helping others while receiving a tax benefit for the donated items."

Through this partnership, usable items that might be pitched during the moving process or left behind – vehicles, furniture, clothing to appliances – can be donated.  To learn more, visit www.allied.com/partners/salvation-army.

"By partnering with Allied Van Lines, we are able to provide people in a busy moving situation with an easy, one-call solution to donate usable, unwanted goods to The Salvation Army," said Major John Aren, Administrator, Chicago North Side ARC.  "All proceeds are used to fund our Adult Rehabilitation Center program, where beneficiaries find help, hope, and a second chance at life through work therapy, education, counseling and spiritual development."

Building on its partnership with Move for Hunger which collects nonperishable food for local food banks, Allied is committed to providing simple ways to donate all types of household items and transform the lives of those in need.
